The library of the Institute contains around 1000 works. There is a focus on very recent publications on Web 2.0, Semantic Web and Digital Editions. Other fields of the collection comprise the areas of data modelling, web- and network technologies as well as theoretical, historical and sociological aspects of New Media.
It is one of the few libraries explicitly dedicated to the collection of works in computer linguistics, media art and legal aspects of IT in Graz. Use of the library is open to all users with a valid library card of Graz University Library. The number of works increases by 60 or 70 publications every year. All works can be found in the online portal of the University of Graz.
